I am really far behind in this challenge but I am planning on reading three books from it next month to catch up on it ( also I read this book 3 months ago so I'm also really late on reviewing it)
Francis has always been a study machine with one goal, go to an elite university. But when she meets Aled the shy genius behind her favourite podcast she discovers a new freedom.
I had many high hopes for this book as I've read a couple books from them previously and loved them so I expected to live this one too and I was so right. This book was everything, I loved the friendships and I love how the main focus was friendship and not romance as not many books do that and I'm glad this one did. Especially because it had such a huge focus on mental health, way to many books have the romantic relationship can save a person from their mental health struggles trope which I despise, so this book not having that was amazing. I also loved the talk around and call out of fandom culture and how so often people feel like they are entitled to know everything about a celebrity just because they put out something you enjoy. It's something that really annoys me about fandoms and I'm glad it was brought up in this book.
